Pop your Hypnocil, Freddy fans, and get ready for ROBERT ENGLUND & THE DREAM WARRIORS: CELEBRATING A NIGHTMARE! A once-in-a-lifetime staged reading of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors will be performed by the iconic actors from the original film, as well as friends of the 35-year Nightmare legacy. Proceeds will benefit the Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, dedicated to helping teens and transforming lives since 1942.

The all-star cast includes Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger; Heather Langenkamp as Nancy Thompson and Ira Heiden, Rodney Eastman, Bradley Gregg, Penelope Sudrow as the Dream Warriors. Special appearances by: Director Chuck Russell, Brooke Bundy, Amanda Wyss, Tuesday Knight, Brooke Theiss, Steven Caffrey, Bill Allen, Byron Thames & more!

The performance will be held at the world-famous Whisky-A-Go-Go, at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, 2019. Doors open at 12:30 and there will be a fifteen-minute intermission. Drinks will also be available for purchase at the Whisky-A-Go-Go bar.

A “NIGHTMARE” COMES TO LIFE THIS SEPTEMBER IN LOS ANGELES
“DREAM WARRIORS” SCRIPT TO BE READ BY MEMBERS OF ORIGINAL CAST & SPECIAL GUESTS AT CHARITY BENEFIT PERFORMANCE

With two weeks left to showtime, there are only about two dozen tickets remaining for ROBERT ENGLUND & THE DREAM WARRIORS: CELEBRATING A NIGHTMARE, a live staged reading of A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3: DREAM WARRIORS to be performed at 1:00PM on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at the world-famous WHISKY A GO-GO. Proceeds from the event will go to benefit Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping teens and transforming lives since 1942.

Produced by and starring NIGHTMARE 3 actors HEATHER LANGENKAMP (Nancy) and IRA HEIDEN (Will) the cast boasts a number of other returning players including RODNEY EASTMAN (Joey), BRADLEY GREGG (Phillip), PENELOPE SUDROW (Jennifer), BROOKE BUNDY (Mrs. Parker) – and, of course, ROBERT ENGLUND as the iconic “Man of Your Dreams,” Freddy Krueger.

Additional roles will be played by actors from the 35-year, 8 film, ELM STREET legacy including AMANDA WYSS (the first NIGHTMARE), TUESDAY KNIGHT and BROOKE THEISS (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4: THE DREAM MASTER), as well as other “friends” of the series. The stage directions will be narrated by DREAM WARRIORS’ original director CHUCK RUSSELL.

“Ira and I, and other Dream Warriors, had talked about putting on a staged reading for a couple of years,” states Langenkamp. “We thought a performance to raise money for teen mental health was a perfect goal.”

On the choice of location Heiden says: “We knew this was going to be a once-in-a-lifetime event, so where better to have it than at a legendary venue like the Whisky?”

The intimate performance is limited to 40 VIP Experiences and 65 General Admission Tickets.

Doors open at 12:30. Performance starts at 1:00PM. There will be a fifteen-minute intermission.

Drinks will be for sale at the Whisky-A-Go-Go bar.

To raise additional funds, there will be a raffle and a silent auction that will offer items to the highest bidders.
