A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master is a fun film, and marks the point when Freddy Krueger became a cultural icon. 30 years later, the “MTV Nightmare” as it is also known, is still beloved by fans. Despite a predominantly improvised script due to a writer’s strike, Nightmare 4 is an imaginative roller coaster with lovable characters, a killer soundtrack and unforgettable special effects. It also brings Alice Johnson into the storyline, one of the franchise’s (and horror’s) greatest heroines.<\/p>\n

On Wed. August 29th, the Gateway Film Center<\/a>\u00a0and Nightmare podcast, Elm Street Radio<\/a>, have teamed up for a special event<\/a> dedicated to Dream Master in honor of its 30th anniversary.<\/p>\n
