Bloody-Disgusting<\/strong> reported the Nightmare on Elm Street<\/em> remake casting call has been announced, beginning Monday, April 27. Read their post below, along with character descriptions:<\/p>\n

Being produced by Platinum Dunes, the remake is set to be directed by Samuel Bayer from a screenplay by Wesley Strick. Shooting officially begins April 27th in Chicago, IL. Beyond the break you’ll find the official casting call, who will end up as Freddy?<\/p>\n

[FREDDY KRUEGER] (40s) The fedora-wearing villain of children\u2019s nightmares. He’\u2019s taunting and vindictive. He’s the last person you want to see in your dreams…<\/p>\n
