Who would your pick be if you HAD to recast for Freddy?

I know no one can do what Robert Englund did. And I agree that it wouldn’t be ideal to see someone else as Freddy. That being said, if you had to pick someone (Freddy’s knives to your head situation) who would you wanna see?

Interesting choice with Bill Skarsgård. I think his style could really bring a darker psychological edge to Freddy, though part of me still feels no one can truly replace Englund.

It's a tough question! No one can truly replace Robert Englund as Freddy. But if forced to choose, I'd love to see an actor who can capture that dark humor and unsettling physicality. Someone who could make the Slope Game suddenly feel less innocent, you know? Casting is everything, finding someone who can bring a fresh, terrifying spin. This could really test the boundaries.
