Quote from: Katarinassler on February 11, 2026, 01:11:09 AMWow, really? Lar Park Lincoln passed? That's sad. I remember being so impressed with her in *Friday the 13th Part VII*.
Did she do much else besides horror? I recall seeing her in a few TV guest spots back then, but nothing major stuck out.

well technically not a whole lot.  she was only in House Ii, Friday the 13th Part VII and in the Crystal Lake Memories.

then for tv, she was in that one episodce of Freddy's Nightmares in season 1. and an one episode of Space Above and beyond

just found out on wikipedia that Lar Park Lincoln died recently earlier this year back in April.

dang.

not only was she in Friday the 13th Part VII, she was also in an episode of season 1 of Freddy's Nightmares

back in the 1990s when i was in high school i had a weird recurring   dream of Freddy and Nightmare on Elm Street where Freddy was disguised as one of those big dressers with the swivel mirror and he was attacking a new Elm Street character

yeah I and others who have read it already know that information, rooferglove.

Quote from: urrutiap on September 05, 2025, 11:58:36 AManyone buy the new Elm Street Autopsis book that just came out recently? its supposed to have "newer" interviews from the directors of 2 and 3 i think and stuff about deleted scenes etc.

I wouldnt mind geting it but they pretty much covered everything in the Never Sleep Again documentary anywy
Nightmare Autopsis is a new 420-page book with new interviews (including directors of Parts 2, 3, and 5), details on deleted/alternate scenes, unused scripts, and a photo gallery.
It offers some fresh content, but much overlaps with Never Sleep Again.
Worth buying mainly for hardcore fans; casual fans might not find enough new material.

my favorite old horror and sci fi shows

1980s Twilight Zone show
Tales from the Dark Side
HBO's The Hitchhiker anthology show. the theme song still gives me the heebie jeebies
HBO's old Tales from the Crypt show
X Files
Freddy's Nightmares
1990s Outer Limits. i still enjoy the hidden plot of Mars aliens invading earth.
HBO's Perversions of Science
WGN's Monsters.
1980s Jim Henson's Storyteller show. i only know of the prince turning into a hedgehog episode

Rarely/once in awhile on Amazon Prime they do air Freddy's Nightmares.

as of right now this late at night the show is on Horror Stories channel  auto marathon though on Amazon Prime.

kind of nice sine Plex loads way too darn slow
#8
well Plex loads slow as heck and it doesnt have everything that its supposed to have.

Freddy's Nightmares was better on Tubi like back in 2022 before they got rid of it.

Plus not everyone  even goes to Plex. I stick with Paramount, Tubi, Hulu, Netflix once in a while and Freevee/Amazon Prime Video
#9
yeah its available on Plex only which is a shame.

Wish Tubi would re add Freddy's Nightmares. Dunno why they won't since they seem to bring old movies again and again like High Spirits etc every month or so.

also for unknown reasons, Amazon Prime Video lost the rights to the old show Monsters Season 2. The heck is going on? lol

yeah the show does get a bit violent and graphic more than the movies.

Even the high school reunion episode and some other episode where a gal gets naked to make out with some guy you can tell the gal probably had stripper pasties on to get away with it.

the woman that's possessed by Freddy in the  school reunion, I dunno how old she was back then but she was in shape and with the bra she had  on I swear if she sneezed too hard her boobs were gonna pop right out of her bra

I said you can watch it on Plex since the show is on Plex now.  Plex works fine on a laptop though, when I try to browse Plex for a little bit on my Playstation 4, the Plex app tends to crash and exit out. Dunno if that's a usual problem for consoles when trying to browse something like Plex on a game console

just found out this morning while I was browsing Freevee on drift boss my Playstation 4, that Freddy's Nightmares is available for a new Live channel. Dunno when this started going on
Do you have the link to that live channel?

the show is also available to watch for free on Plex. Plex is available if you have a Playtation 4 or if you're using your laptop.

I found some old obscure goodies like old mid late 1980s horror movies. there's even the old 1990s comedy show the Drew Carey show that I loved back when I was in high school. the actress as Mimi was hilarious

If I was in charge back in the day I would have ended the Elm Street series at the end of either Nightmare on Elm Street 3 or 4.   Elm Street 4 basically saying you may have defeated Krueger again holding him at bay but he'll just return again and again to haunt the next generation of teens

A Nightmare on Elm Street / Re: Freddy Fanfiction Thread
December 24, 2024, 11:45:35 AM
a long long time ago back in 1999 I started writing an Elm Street story on that fanfiction.net website. then I completely forgot all about it

well I managed to binge watch the show when it was on Tubit like back in November-December 2022 or some time in 2023 before Tubi got rid of it.

Live TV on Freevee sucks since you don't get to pick and choose what to watch
