The most noted cut scene from the 5th film surrounds Greta's death. Written as a girl who suffers from bulimia to keep her "model figure," Greta's death involved Freddy scooping out her stomach and feeding her the innards - proving "you are what you eat."
Dan's transformation sequence was also trimmed.
Due to censor objection, these scenes were removed for the theatrical release.
Note: These scenes can be seen on the laserdisc and VHS uncensored editions. The DVD releases do not include these scenes, due to film master issues.
